Winter Within

The forest's drowning into the dark
As i walk the frozen path
My shadow slowly fades away
I bury here my grief and pain

This land's surrounded by chains of snow
Will never know fertility
Ancient spirits rise to behold
Their master in his sublimity

Childs of night! hail your father!
Guide the way to my throne
Giant trees hide your branches
Let the moon light my crown

Rapture blazed my tormented soul
Like burning star the heaven's forge
Blessing my divine creation
Creating god in his forge

When fate will grant another fetter
And sentence spirit to starvation
I'll bring myself into my shelter
Where wounded soul shall find salvation
