We're Still Drifting

How shallow are we that we can't see when something's wrong?
When there is so much to look back on from
all the things they taught us, when everything we did felt a lot more important than all that

We put in just what we wanted out of it
The floorboards caved in and now there isn't much left

But I'm still happy cause I still can be
and if we keep it up, us being here, I'm perfectly fine
but I want you to know we could've done better
