Heaven’s gates are open wide–see
God’s great throne with christ beside
All around the angels sing endless worship to the king

Fallen heart, my glory dimmed
But the light of christ shines o’er my sin
My heart the house where angels sing
Now the heaven is alive in me–heaven is alive in me

O ancient gates, open your eyes
The king of glory is alive
O ancient gates, be opened wide
The king of glory lives inside

Take my heart and let it be for the glory of the king
For wherever heav’n and earth collide, a holy purpose satisfied
So ancient gates be opened wide
