The Answer

Ever been in this situation?
Well, let me explain.
I question perceptions,
"Did I make the impression that I swear that I made?"

Whenever I feel this tension,
I wonder if it's all in my mind.
'Cause if it's something I dreamed up,
then why does it feel so much
like I've been brushed aside?
