The Pilgrim's Progress

What shall I do to save my soul?

I feel the burden of sin on my shoulders
My spirit is broken
What must I do to be saved?
Because I live in the city of destruction

If I die here, I'll be buried
In a deeper place than a tomb
Where fire and brimstone burn

But I see the Narrow Gate beyond the mountains
Shrouded in light and I need to get there

Because I seek an incorruptible inheritance
Reserved safely in Heaven
Life! Eternal life!
For those who endure till the end!
