Stained Glass

i can't see through the wall
i can manipulate it all
the dog at the end of the hall
again i feel so small
viscosity starts to crawl
velocity feels it all
53 seconds pass
i can't see through stained glass
they all want to hurt me
i'm trying to be free
a guiltless state
i'm terrified my own short fate
how could it never come back
melt the glass break a crack
mind's far too complex and tall
to be just life after all
when i'm high i start to fall
