East Coast Wednesday

this honor at best is a common regret
shared by those that are like of mind
and maybe concerned with all that we've learned from you
and I can only see truth in this light
its boredom and bedrooms
its everything
its east coast wednesdays spent listening
lets hold cold hands in bitter rooms
I'm pleased to meet you
I'm perfectly fine and I'm pleastantly clear sipping in this morning view
signs they highlight for
a blueprint in my eyes
and I'll stay close by
I'll wait here all night
all I ever looked forward to was seeing fall colors in my rearview
as these weeks stumble by I have shuttered "hi" engaged in dialouge with few
and now I'm at beck and call to this house in fall
it reminds me of youth
