The Bubble

I'm not used to dudes who take walks when their thoughts are loud
I'm used to the bubble and the bubble will pop if you think you’re proud
Have you seen the king on his throne of so many years
He brings the boys to their knees and the boys eyes are full of tears

But where does it go
All the ideas and things that you made in a little pond

When the bubble keeps you home

I never wanted to wander too far
Now I'm afraid I won’t see it all

Who knew the king would eventually fall

There are many queens walking circles round this gigantic planet
Not a lot get the credit in the bubble run by princes reciting hamlet
Woe is me to be or not to be is that the question
These ladies know what they want
And they’ve got too much time to teach you a lesson

When all the power is never in their control

There are many suitors unsuitable for me
Not a lot of room in this bubble for a magic matrimony

Hid away from the castle
But the bubble came back to devour me
