I run a pencil around my hand and give myself a gloveCorro um lápis em torno da mão e me dou uma luva
And if I make it rain, with 2 strokes I have an umbrellaE se faço chover, com 2 riscos tenho um guarda-chuva

If a little drop of ink falls on a blue piece of paperSe um pinguinho de tinta cai num pedacinho azul do papel
In an instant I imagine a beautiful seagull flying in the skyNum instante imagino uma linda gaivota a voar, no céu
Flying, circling the immense curveVai voando, contornando a imensa curva
North-SouthNorte-Sul
I go with it, traveling to Hawaii, Beijing or IstanbulVou com ela, viajando Havaí, Pequim ou Istambul
I paint a white sailing boat navigatingPinto um barco à vela, branco navegando
There's so much sky and sea in a blue kissÉ tanto céu e mar num beijo azul
Among the clouds emerges a beautiful pink and maroon airplaneEntre as nuvens vem surgindo um lindo avião rosa e grená
Everything around coloring, with its blinking lightsTudo em volta colorindo, com suas luzes a piscar
Just imagine and it's taking off, serene and beautifulBasta imaginar e ele está partindo, sereno e lindo
And if we want it, it will landE se a gente quiser ele vai pousar

A boy walks and walking reaches the wallUm menino caminha e caminhando chega no muro
And there, just ahead, waiting for us, the future isE ali, logo em frente, a esperar pela gente, o futuro está

And the future is a spaceship that we try to pilotE o futuro é uma astronave que tentamos pilotar
It has no time, no mercyNão tem tempo, nem piedade
It has no set time to arriveNão tem hora de chegar
Without asking permission it changes our lives and then invites us to laugh or crySem pedir licença muda a nossa vida e depois convida a rir ou chorar
On this road we can't know or see what will comeNessa estrada não nos cabe conhecer ou ver o que virá
And the end of itE o fim dela
No one knows for sure where it will leadNinguém sabe bem ao certo onde vai dar
We all walk on a beautiful catwalkVamos todos numa linda passarela
