te arrastraste a mi cama esa nocheyou crawled into my bed that night
como algún tipo de insecto gigantelike some sort of giant insect
y me encontré hechizadoand i found myself spellbound
al verte,at the sight of you,
hermosa y grotesca y todo lo demás de ese rollo de insectobeautiful and grotesque and all the rest of that bug stuff
engañando tu camino hacia mi bocabluffing your way into my mouth
detrás de mis dientes, alcanzando mis cicatrices-behind my teeth, reaching for my scars-
esa noche nos echaron de dos baresthat night we got kicked out of two bars
y reímos camino a casaand laughed our way home

esa noche te inclinastethat night you leaned over
y vomitaste en tu cabelloand threw up into your hair
y te sostuve allí, pensando-and i held you there, thinking-
te ofrecería mi.....pulsoi would offer you my.....pulse
si pensara que sería útilif i thought it would be useful
te daría mi aliento,i would give you my breath,
salvo,except,
el problema con la muertethe problem with death
es que tenemos unos cien añosis that we have some hundred years
y luego pueden construir edificios sobre nuestros únicos huesosand then they can build buildings on our only bones
100 años, y luego tu tumba no es tuya100 years, and then your grave is not your own
y yacemos en nuestras camas, y nuestras tumbasand we lie in out beds, and our graves
incapaces de salvarnosunable to save ourselves

que parecía tan brillante cuando la encendiste,which seemed so bright when you turned it on,

comparada con el amanecercompared to the dawn

que se filtra de ti mientras duermes,which seeps from you while you're sleeping,
enrollado en mi habitación-cocooned in my room-
hermosa y grotesca,beautiful and grotesque,
descansandoresting
