Triumphant Return

So great was the king's gratitude
He embraced conall as a friend
And freed the remaining son
To this he added
His treasured steed
And a hefty sack of gold

Conall and his three sons
Returned to their land
Triumphant and solemn
The king vowed to
The one with the yellow hand
His everlasting friendship
Which afforded him
Much honor and respect

The three sons
Who nearly lost their lives
They were sobered
And humbled
By the experience
Wisdom of prudence and maturity
Had been learned
Though the price was high
Never again
Were any of the three
Given over to impetuosity
