Martha & Richard

Martha went about her day without changing in any way.
Richard got on a steam train; headed out west where the trees grow tall.
Friends wrote letters. They said "Martha, how are you? What's new with you?".
But she never wrote back; she never replied, but she'd cry when they wouldn't stop by.
Richard called and said "Martha, please come home.

Martha called and said, "Richard, please come home.
