Stench Like No Other

Here on this land
Storm clouds are thrown
Crushed against the earth
Blanketing all around
Black abyss

Bodies wrenched from beneath the ground
Open graves
Corpses unearthed
Taste the fetid air
Nausiating stench like no other

Following a trail
Trail of blood
I can hardly see
Carniverous hunger
Flesh becomes torment

Frenzied by torment
Hunger driving me forth
Further into the abyss
Searching all around
Black abyss

I see my victim
I chase
Striving forward outward reaching
Grasping
But my prey steps backwards
Into the gloom before me
Ever out of reach
