Long I’ve waited for the time
To see thy crimson shine of light painting the skies
Tempting with scenes of mysteries

Long I’ve walked this winding path alone
To feel thy spell take hold of my darkened heart
Binding with chains of fantasy
Holding my soul in this grace of night where I can see all that’s left of me

Dance of shadows will hold the grace of nighttime deep within my heart
Through darkened eyes I stare, won’t you
Shine your fire and set my soul ablaze with your tempting glow
Enlight this pilgrim’s way under thy skies, my dark morning star

This ending scene enlightens to me
Now I see thy fortress high above
And hear a calling beyond that shadow’s wall
Luring with unreal frantic scenes
Transcending my soul to this state of catatonic dreams
