I think I don’t quite get why everything stays the same
When those in power always brag about how well we’re doing,
If exports are up, the GDP is rising, and there’s no more
Recession, then why do I still see so much hunger
Misery and exploitation on the streets?

The TV, the radio, and the press are lying to us too
'Cause they live off the money from
Those who steal while rotating power
They want to convince us there’s nothing we can do,
