Downfall
Conqueror amidst the firewall
Downfall
Lies in ruin yet his doom spared him for more wrath

Surrounded by the dreadful fires
No light but the dark did they cast
No stars did blink in his baleful sight

From darkened skies,
when all love died,
I looked for her but knew
that she was cursed like me forever more.

With tears I recall
the times spent under the moonlight
when day was not yet born
and stars still sang their ironies.
She was the love
forbidden by God
and I spied like a serpent to steal her away
To the place where Thrones did not hold sway

Like flaming rubies his eyes still hold the light
Stolen from the upper fantasies
As a burning autumn leaf he fell
Like a crimson tear from his loverï's eye
