You lied to me
I cant trust your eyes,
all they tell me is that youve changed
How should I feel after what youve done?
These pills are my only salvation
I am born anew now that Ive lost everything
Clouded are now my blue skies
Broken words from you ripped my soul apart
You were heartless all along
I have tried
But to no avail
These thoughts
fermenting in my heart for so long
The clouds over my head rain down on me
Your belated words cut me thrice
I thought youd make me again
You said
I wish I could be by you and I wish I could feel you
Regrets that caught up with us
words we never said
ripped us apart
this is our travesty.
