brilliance shines right upon their guide
brings a message of peace tonight
words that sound so worn out and dry
become flood through this monologue

wisdom pours from his lips and finds
its way into their minds
the speech is long but it's all worthwhile

reason builds up and turns the tide
streets fill up with waves so high
drown will those who've clung to their lies
