The Shelter

This is the land of stone spheres and jade
I was born here under new Moon
I spend my days scattering bones
I swing with the wind and the pines

Searching for jewels in the sky
I just dilute myself into the night
Tearing my hands against the ground
Digging a grave tired and bowed

This land cries out forbidden rites
Exiled tribes rot in the mud
Creatures drop dead right on my door
Here’s where I will shelter my soul forever
