Dance in the mist

Mourning, the mist on the meadow
Slowly fading shadows
Weeping for the light of day
Whirling, the wind softly sleeping
While the ghosts are leaping
Across the field to dance and play

The rising in the air surrounding
With the council open beneath the stars
They gather silently to welcome
The dawn that was yet to come

Phantoms dancing on the meadows
Whirling as the wind blows
Mystic creatures of morning dew and twilight
Sleeping, free and hypnotizing
All of them enticing
Dancing for me

Weeping, whirlwinds mystifying
Haunting souls are dying
Their ancient dances of the mold
Calling, joining to alluring
As the mist is swirling
Dance with us and be reborn

One step in through the veil of stillness
Forgetting space and time apart
Untold forbidden promise surrounding
The illusion take over the heart

Phantoms dancing on the meadows
