A Thousand Falling Skies

Stitch and burn flesh upon flesh. For no reason and no explanation. Promises are made to
be broken. My angels a barer of sorrows that I could do to live without. Always hating
myself for things that have gone wrong. Things I could never change. How can I ever be
without what means so much to me. You took it all away. The paths I walk down once
paved with gold. Just crack beneath my feet and smiles don't shine as brightly as they
used to. Because I don't know what it feels like to be loved.
