In The Darkness

There is a place from where all life flows
But in a godless place the darkness grows
Choking the light from the universe
Stopping the souls from reaching earth

The well has power but can't stop the rise
As the darkness grows the earth surely dies
Darkness is coming, we can't stop the tide
As the well turns sallow the earth surely dies

In the darkness all the light
Becomes scattered in the storm
And the souls of man are gone
