Repentance

Down from the sky will they rain forth their vengeance
Death, dying, all shall be lost
Sins and their sons will breed wrath from the mighty
Greed will be the curse of us all
Only through grace have we lived ever peaceful
Paying with sweat for our lives
Weary of tribute we held back our duty
Now's our blood substitute

Screaming we die. Gods' will be done
Man, woman, child, all, none shall be saved

Bodies now fill every street, home and field
Rot fills the void in between
Always the flies of disease hound for murder
Gods' will delivered unseen
Falling upon our knees we plead for forgiveness
To gods we neglected in spite
Playing the penitent, prodigal servant
