Why can we not have one another
In this world where everything
Is so magnificent

We live with this feeling of celestial power
Even in the wild, uncivilized

We have such beauty
As if it is only
Appearing for our eyes

Searing the darkness

Everything material, everything aesthetic
Is free to us

Yet we are not free
Not free to have anything of morality

We are not able to speak of our fears
We are not able to speak of our philosophies

These glorious objects and landscapes
Which continually surround us
Fuel a distraction from what we truly miss
What we really need

I do not need gold
I demand nothing optical
What I desire is unseen
An invisible force between souls
