Elysian Echoes

Visions of distant lands
The ones which I once roamed
Through that haze I long to see
In the oracle of nature to share

Here beneath a leaf clad sky
Where creation joins with harmonious beauty
This portal above untrodden ground
An echo of where I belong

Cascading memories become my song
Undying splendour and blissful truth
The beckoning to halt
To see beyond what eyes can see
To hear ethereal melodies
Not composed by persons of Earth

Beauty unseen
Wed with sweet eloquence unheard
