I am hatred a spawn of your pride
I am vengeance allegiant by your side
I am the impurity of your life
I am the serpent constricting your mind
I am your darkest desires profound
And you will pledge yourself to me

Peace is a lie for the dimwitted kind
You lick my wounds when I'm weak
As my minds digging deeper I am yours to keep
This is the end, this is the fall
The darkness in me will devour us all
It's a silence, wily but yet so piercing
Inevitable darkness lurking, distorting what is left of me
The fire inside is fading, as life is flashing before my eyes
As I am standing in the shade of death I know it is only within
