Engine

as i fell for nine days, with one third of my life decay. cold and withered i lie fetal in a pool of blood.
cold as the surface breaks. locusts swarm now i can peel back my skin. frozen limbs i kick and swing.
cancerous mass, i watch the fucker grow.
as we triumph the blood stains the ground.

we burn clean in this engine. the flower is scorned and my fists are clenched. how can you sleep with the hands of your enemy still wrapped around your neck?
