Silent Me
It was cold place of corners and cobwebs ,of heartache and fear
And I felt it reach out to me with it's damp boney fingers pulling my hair.
Though I did hate it,I loved the people there,
And would I be here today,If I hadn't started there?

Silent me, Silent me,
No thoughts on my mind, no words from my mouth
I stopped and stared
And silently ,walked away from there.

And all the love in the world,can't save a soul that's happier drowning,
That's making it's own little tower of anger &secrets
& ten kinds of misery.
I cannot know what I know and go drowning with you
I cannot be alive and live this death with you.

This is a place that has no hope in heaven or dreams
And I have to go far away to dream of heavenly things.
