So, I'm here in the professor's company
On a visit to the elf workshop
Which is chock-full of all kinds of gadgets
There are really plenty of quirky contraptions here

Look, here we have a very peculiar machine
It's shiny and its parts are huge
It has a propeller and a horn, some strange setup
So professor, how about a little explanation?

So, electricity flows in through that hole
It starts up this bike pump in a snap
Which kicks off that small propeller
And then continues to the engine of this contraption

It turns this way
Goes that way
And it rolls wherever
It's odd and cool
It's a smart gadget

Oh I see
But what is this thing really?

So this engine starts up this axle again
Which pumps some water into these thermostats
After which the water flows to that turbine
Which spins at the top of the mast, look at that

But what is this contraption used for?

Well, this pedal is screwed onto the mast
Which pedals an old bike, must be a Helkama
And when the dynamo works, electricity is generated like this
Six amperes, or something like that
