La Hoja Más Afilada

The Sharpest Blade

El ambiente de la mañana es tranquiloQuiet is the morning's mood
El sonido lejano del murmullo de la ciudad y el río fluyendoThe distant sound of city hum and river running
Son un respiro de las vocesAre respite from the voices
Que visitan durante la nocheThat visit through the night

Solo usa la hoja más afiladaOnly use the sharpest of blades
Guiada por la mano firme y la mente en calmaGuided by the steady hand and quiet mind
Estas líneas finas son solo pequeños cortesThese fine lines are all small cuts
No tengas miedoDon't be afraid

Las motas de polvo bailan en los rayos del solDust motes dance on the sunbeams
Volando en el aire y libresFlying airborne and free
Pero se desvanecen y caenBut they fade and fall
Cuando llegan las sombrasWhen shadows come
Así como yoJust like me

El filo del cuchillo parece saber a dónde irThe knife edge seems to know where to go
Cada movimiento perfecto sin resistenciaEvery movement perfect with no resistance
Como si alguien o algoLike someone or something
Supiera qué hacerKnows what to do

Dicen que lo que no te mataThey say what doesn't kill you
Pero yo digo que eso no es ciertoBut I say that's just not true
Doblamos estas heridas frágilesWe fold these fragile hurts
Y las enterramos profundoAnd dig them down deep
Pero no han desaparecidoBut they're not gone
Quieren ser libresThey want to be free
Y cuando vienenAnd when they come
Cortan igual de profundoThey cut just as deep
Y solo toma más tiempoAnd it just takes longer

Solo toma más tiempoIt just takes longer
Solo toma más tiempoIt just takes longer
Solo toma más tiempoIt just takes longer
