Dig A Hole

I'll dig a hole so deep
That when you take a leap of faith along with me
We'll touch down in about a week ot two
I think half the fun is getting' there- don't you?

Another shovel full of dirt
A little deeper in the earth

Below the level of the sea
Amazing just how dry it used to be
Standing where a mountain would crumble into dust
This kind of heat and pressure
Was never really good for us

Once upon the surface i was found
But know i find a comfort
In the secrecy so far beneath the ground
Nothing there could tempt me like before
To make the climb up top again
And go through that once more
