Meltdown

Mind in chains
my reality a dead end race
can't escape
no way out
gotta push on consumed by doubt
mental meltdown coming fast
the temperature is rising
i'm starting to sweat
pressure from all sides
the walls are closing in
where do i turn?
is this the end?
on the edge of losing control
too much too bare
can't grab hold
at my wit's end
falling towards the ground
can't be saved when no one is around
trying and trying
wearing my sanity thin
will i come out on top or is this the bitter end?
