The Shovel

On my way I found a stone
Oh mesmer is this stone [?]
I started to dig to find some more
Diggin' the dirt to the core

My shovel broke I went to the store
I bed my shovel in stone
The owner said oh, the shovel's worth way more
So I went digging some more

I found a plank behind a door
And our plank broke once more
I started to dig with my bare hands
Skinnin' my flesh to the core

On my way I found a stone

I started to dig to find some more
Diggin' the dirt to the core

Something hard just broke my sum
Did I find, really found some
The promised stone was just a bone
Just some bloody damn bone

I dug so deep and for too long
When the storm came along
The storm so strong the hole collapsed
Crushing my chest and my lungs
