I watched the sunset for the last time today
As you grow, your memories of me will begin to fade
And I have become such a part of you
Remember this today

Do you remember a time when the wars were silenced?
Do you remember when tears turned to laughter once and for all?
I have come to you today

Now I live in a place where hope will never fade
Where only tears of serenity remain
And I watched you pray every night for all the sorrow to fade

Do you remember watching the world from miles away?
