Tides Of Redemption

I've been witness to the degredation of our land
Through bitter progress we sculpt our own demise
Now, there's nothing left but to carry the burden of our inheritance

I have seen the rising of the damned.
Filling the air with their brackish pride.
And I have seen the fall of the gods.
Lifeless Idols left as the wake recedes.

as the tides of redemption wane
as the grim weight of our fate sets in
the tides of perdition draw near

Vast Decaying and never ending.
Memories serving a fading time.

Keeping an oath is worth praise
and we have failed in our oath to forebear.

New Worlds rising from desperate efforts.
Ascending for flawlessness.

We are bound by the entrails of our myopic greed

The only way that we shall be free is by the trembling of the earth
As it falls into blight
