Jeanette's Got E.Coli

In hospital, my neck and fingers were bandaged.
Before i left, i crept to the ward jeanette was on.
She was half conscious, so i just kissed her cheek, crying.

I could barely take in how much we'd both been through.
I was exhausted, but it was 9a.m. before i was able to fall into bed at a friend's house after giving a statement at the police station.
