I want to write you a love poemTe quiero escribir una poesía de amor
That speaks of you, that speaks of me.Que hable de ti, que hable de mí.
They will be verses in the air that you can breathe,Serán versos en el aire que puedas respirar,
That soak your soul, that soak you with love;Que te empapen el alma, que te empapen de amor;
They will be truthful letters united in my heartSerán letras con verdad unidas en mi corazón
To tell you that I love you, that I want you,Para decirte que te amo, que te quiero,
That I dream of you, that I need you.Que te sueño, que te necesito.

How can I explain what the soul tries to say,Cómo puedo explicar lo que el alma intenta decir,
I try to understand that loving can be like this.Trato de entender que amar puede ser así.
I will avoid tormenting my existence as long as I can,Evitaré mientras pueda martirizar mi existir,
I will leave to chance the luck of feeling you here.Dejaré al azar la suerte de sentirte aquí.
I will recite my love poetry only with my kisses;Recitaré mi poesía de amor sólo con mis besos;
In them, I will tell you that I love you, that I want you,En ellos te diré que te amo, que te quiero,
That I dream of you, that I need you.Que te sueño, que te necesito
