Como la apertura lenta de una flor raraLike the slow opening of a rare flower
Misterios celestiales fueron revelados desde el más alláCelestial mysteries were revealed from beyond

La atmósfera estaba impregnadaThe atmosphere was permeated
Con la melodía curativa de un coro invisibleWith the healing melody of an invisible choir
Y sabía que había entrado en el dominio del dios vivienteAnd I knew I had entered the domain of the living god

Mis ojos contemplaban una vasta sala de almas de todas las nacionesMy eyes beheld a vast concourse of souls from every nation
Vestida con las ropas impecables de los redimidosDressed in the spotless garments of the redeemed
Con gran voz hicieron eco de alabanzas a su reyWith a loud voice they echoed praises to their king

Vi un trono poderoso alrededor del cual estaba sentadoI saw a mighty throne around which was seated
Cuatro y veinte ancianos con coronas de gloriaFour and twenty elders with crowns of glory
Y como el sonido de las aguas apresuradas comenzaron a cantarAnd like the sound of rushing waters they began to sing

Todo el principio de vivir era diferenteThe whole principle of living was different
La comida y el agua no eran necesarios para mantener la vidaFood and water wasn't needed to sustain life
No había agonía mental, lágrimasThere was no mental agony, tears
Fuente de lágrimas o cualquier dolor físicoSource of tears or any physical pain

La luz no vino de una fuente como el solLight did not come from one source like the sun
Pero la gloria de Dios iluminó todoBut god's glory illuminated everything
Así que las sombras no existían, ni los cambios elementalesSo shadows did not exist, neither did elemental changes
Como la nieve, las tormentas o incluso la lluviaLike snow, storms or even rain

Entonces, en todo su graduado prístino, vi la ciudad santaThen, in all of it's pristine graduer, I saw the holy city
Suspendido como un cubo en la extensión de la eternidadSuspended like a cube at the expanse of eternity
Quinientos kilómetros de altura y tan profundo como anchoFifteen hundred miles high and just as deep as it was wide

Colores indescriptibles se refractaban en todas partesIndescribable colors were refracting everywhere
De las piedras preciosas que estaba hecha deFrom the precious stones it was made of
Con doce ángeles custodiando las puertasWith twelve angels guarding the gates
Hecho de una perla sólida en cada ladoFashioned from one solid pearl on each side

Entonces, desde detrás de mí, pude sentir la presenciaThen, from behind me, I could sense the presence
De uno cuya virtud atravesó las fibras de mi serOf one whose virtue shot through the very fibers of my being
Mientras me volvía lentamente, un resplandor glorioso consumió mis ojosAs I slowly turned, a glorious radiance consumed my eyes
Su silueta fue retrocedida por el inmenso mar de vidrioHis silhouette was backdropped by the immense sea of glass

Y por primera vezAnd for the very first time
Mis ojos vieron a uno completamente encantadorMy eyes beheld one altogether lovely

Estar con él era tener todo lo que siempre quiseBeing with him was to have everything I ever wanted
Sea todo lo que alguna vez imaginéBe everything I ever imagined
Y llegar a todas partes sólo soñaba con irAnd arrive at everywhere I only dreamed of going
Entonces la misma voz que hizo que los mundos existieranThen the same voice that spoke the worlds into existence
Habló mi nombre en tonos afectuososSpoke my name in affectionate tones
