So many peopleTanta gente
Who no longer show a gesture of affectionQue já não faz um gesto de carinho
Instead of rosesAo invés de rosas
They spread thornsEspalham espinhos
Planting the seed of discordPlantando a semente da discórdia

They no longer knowJá não sabem
What the verb 'to love' meansO que significa o verbo amar
The verb they know is 'to hate'O verbo que conhecem é odiar
They have neither peace nor mercyNão tem a paz e nem misericórdia
