The Night

The night he's my friend
Forever we'll be united
For he knows the darkness in my soul
The longing the fear and the hate

With his dark cold fingers he grabs hold of my heart
To capture me by his side
To control my every emotion

Once I was young my life colourful and bright
One day I fell and was captured by the night
My master now in darkness dwells
I'm resting at his feet

Memories of my lost life ignoring my defeat
Many human lifetimes passing me by
