En el solitario Golgota, hace dos mil añosLonely Golgatha, two thousand years ago
El dador de toda vida entregó su alma humanaThe giver of all life gave up His human soul
Toda la tierra temblaría, nubes de trueno se formaríanAll the earth would tremble, deep thunder clouds would form
Y en el centro del templo el velo sagrado se rasgóAnd in the center of the temple the holy veil was torn
Y en ese díaAnd on that day
Se abrió un caminoWas made a passage way
Hacia la misma presencia del SeñorInto the very presence of the Lord

Y caminé dentro del veloAnd i walked within the veil
Y vi la gloria de Dios Padre contempladaAnd saw the glory of God the Father beheld
Y sentí el toque de Aquel que me conocía tan bienAnd felt the touch of Him who knew me so well
Entonces caí de rodillas y adoré...dentro del veloThen I fell on my knees and worshiped...within the veil

Dentro del velo hay un fuego consumidorWithin the veil there's a consuming fire
Que purifica mis pensamientos y cambia mis deseosThat purifies my thoughts and changes my desires
Ofrendas de confesión con cada palabra que pronuncioOfferings of confession with every word I speak
Pero su perdón me da fuerzas cuandoBut His forgiveness gives me strength when
La tentación me debilitaTemptation has me weak
Y regreso cada día, a ese lugar sagradoAnd I return each day, to that holy place
Donde sus brazos están abiertos de par en par para recibirme...Where His arms are opened wide to welcome me...

Y camino dentro del veloAnd I walk within the veil
Y veo la gloria de Dios Padre contempladaAnd see the glory of God the Father beheld
Y siento el toque de Aquel que me conoce tan bienand feel the touch of Him who knows me so well
Entonces caigo de rodillas y adoro...dentro del veloThen I fall on my knees and worship...within the veil

Un día final tocaré la puerta de la muerteOne final day I'll touch the door of death
Mi alma entrará al cielo con el sonido de mi último alientoMy sould will enter heaven with the sound of my last breath
El largo y solitario viaje habrá valido la penaThe long and lonely journey will have been worth it all
Y estaré frente a mi Padre cumpliendo mi llamadoAnd I'll stand before my Father in fulfillment of my call
Entonces veré su rostro...en ese lugar sagradoThen I'll see His face...in that holy place
