tears apart the black cloak of the night,desgarra el negro manto de la noche,
revealing its scattered light,dejando ver su luz desparramada,

a concert of sun in the morning.un concierto de sol en la mañana.
how beautiful are the nights of my little island,que bonita son las noches de mi islita,
And what a beautiful sunrise of my homeland.Y que bello amanecer el de mí patria.

And proud I feel a thousand times,Y orgulloso me siento una y mil veces,
I thank the Lord for allowing us,lle agradezco al señor nos permitiera,
to have been born in this beautiful land,haber nacido en esta tierra tan hermosa,
in this land where my eyesen esta tierra donde mis ojos
