As I look around
It's hard to say what I see
Stuck with the feeling of insecurities
Told this is natural
I haven't felt this before
Feeling so weighed down
By the weight of this world

And I'm trying my best not to look back
Not to tilt my head
Not to turn around
Some search for peace
In their own past
I'm searching for something
That will outlast

All the roads I travel down
Turn out to be dead ends
Too ignorant to ask for help
From my best of friends
I have what I need to overcome
But the problem is holding on
Feeling so let down
Until I let it out
By writing these songs
