I Love You Lord

Sometimes I wonder how I’m gonna make it through
Through every trial, through every tribulation
Then I remember, that it’s all about you
You’re strength not mine, you will see me through

Sometimes I worry about what tomorrow will bring
My dreams are dying but it’s not as it seems
Need to get my eyes fixed upon your beautiful face
Or else I may not, be able to finish this race

Hands of mercy cover me
Your gentleness is leading me, and my fearful heart

Sweet surrender, this is where I lose control
Into your providence, oh freedom to my soul
Your ways are higher so in your wisdom I’ll trust
Who am I anyway, am I not but dust
This resolution I’ve made in my soul
No more fighting for my own control
Just keep on leaning into your everlasting arms
Be my source, my all in all, come lead me God
