One night we flew through
A bad hailstorm
A flight, where we found
This unknown life form
A night when we saw
This strange swarm
This flight when we first
Raised contact alarm

Dark sky swarm
Red-hot form
Energy in the air
Soaked it up with a flare
Dim flare of red light
Glowed eerie in the night

The swarm ahead
We tried to catch up
Strong winds caught our plane
And made it speed up

The storm pulled us
Right into this swarm
Red glare around us
The air grew warm
