Contaba una maravillosa historia sobre una creaciónTold a wonderful tale about a creation

Podía escuchar el susurro tranquilo:I could hear the tranquil whisper:

La voz del Espíritu tocabaThe Spirit's voiced touched
Mis oídos con amor y cuidadoMy ears with love and care

Continué el caminoI continued the path
Y entré en el bosqueAnd stepped inside the forest
Aún escuchando el susurro:Still hearing the whisper:
'Acercaos a mí...'"Come closer to me..."
Pero de repente los hermosos árbolesBut suddenly the beautiful trees
Y la luz del día se convirtieronAnd days light turned
En un paisaje de espinas y nieblaInto a landscape of thorn and fog

Pronto me perdí en una selva desconocidaSoon I was lost in an unknown wilderness
Y no había fin a mi miedoAnd there was no end to my fright
Las lágrimas corrían por mi rostro afligidoTears ran down my mourned face
Y el dolor no mostraba piedadAnd the pain showed no mercy
Allí estaba, un niño indefenso y asustadoThere I was, a helpless and frightened child
Finalmente caí de rodillas en oraciónAt last I fell down on my knees in prayer

'Padre, ayúdame a salir de aquí', grité"Father, help me out of here", I screamed
Pero no se escuchó respuestaBut no answer was heard
