Yo soy la verdadera vidI am the true vine
Mi Padre es el jardineroMy Father is the gardener
Él corta toda rama en mí que no da frutoHe cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit
Él poda la rama fructífera para que dé más frutoHe prunes the fruitful branch so it will be more fruitful

Si alguien no permanece en Mí, es como una rama que esIf anyone does not remain in Me, He's like a branch that's
arrojada y marchita,thrown away and withers,
Arrojada al fuego y quemadaThrown into the fire and burned

Yo soy la vid, tú eres las ramasI am the vine, you are the branches
Si un hombre permanece en Mí y yo en élIf a man remains in Me and I in him
Él dará mucho frutoHe will bear much fruit
Aparte de Cristo no puedes hacer nadaApart from Christ you can do nothing

Como el Padre me ha amadoAs the Father has loved me
Así los he amado a ustedesSo have I loved you
Permanezcan ahora en Mi amorNow remain in My love

Si obedecen mis mandamientosIf you obey my commands
Permanecerán en Mi amorYou will remain in My love
Así como yo he obedecido los mandamientos de mi PadreJust as I've obeyed my Father's commands
y permanezco en Su amor.and remain in His love.
