Would the people that have heard of me read just to learn of me be turned away by what they see?

Or would they slump in their sofas blown away and sober by my life... didn't come to believe
¿O harían una vez más leer las páginas de mi vida, y una vez que haya terminado, cerrar el libro y decir que así no es como quiero ser!
Or would they do a once over read the pages of my life, and once it's over, close the book and say that's not how I want to be!

Would they say that my commitment to the ministry was strong but that I never spend time with my wife?

¿Qué dirían de mi personaje?
What would they say about my character?
¿Dirían que yo era arrogante, un americano lleno de mí mismo?
Would they say that I was arrogant, an American full of myself?

¿Cómo escribirían sobre mi paternidad?
How would they write about my parenting?
¿Dirían que mientras viajaba, pongo a mis hijos en el estante?
Would they say while traveling, I put my children up on the shelf?
¿Sería positivo o negativo si todo lo que hice fuera trazado y leído por todos?
Would it be positive or negative if everything I ever did was charted down and read by all?
¿No sólo las cosas que se podían ver en la superficie, sino las cosas que se hacían en la oscuridad?
Not only the stuff you could see on the surface but the stuff that was done in the dark?

Bueno, si los chicos pudieran hablar cuando las puertas estaban cerradas, dirían que yo estaba fuera de la cadena o sería todo lo contrario ¿dirían que mi vida pública y privada eran todos iguales?
Well if the boys could talk when the doors was locked would they say that I was off the chain or would it be the complete opposite would they say that my public and private life were all the same?

Or would I be listed among the greats mentioned among the saints in the hall of fame?

Ahora sé que no es posible, pero si el libro fue re-escrito hombre me pregunto cómo leería mi vida
Now I know it's not possible but if the book was re-written man I wonder how my life would read.

¿A partir de los 2 años hasta mi funeral fallaría o tendría éxito? Porque cuando escriben mi biografía ¿qué recordarían sobre la vida y los tiempos sobre el hombre significa mucho para mí!
From 2 years old till my funeral would I fail or would I succeed? Cause when they write my biography what would they recall about the life and times about the man it means a lot to me!
Porque en la historia los dejo o soy el líder de Dios o una imagen de lo que no debe ser
Cause in the story I leave 'em I am either God's leader or a picture of what not to be.
