There he was sitting on ashesLá estava ele sobre cinzas assentado
With a piece of tile that had been leftCom um caco de telha que tinha lhe sobrado

And God answered, showing Job his immense loveE Deus respondeu, mostrando a Jó seu imenso amor
And his servant prospered againE o seu servo outra vez prosperou
And Job became even richerE jó mais rico então se tornou

God does this, tests and approves his faithful servantsDeus faz assim, prova e aprova seus servos fiéis
Does not abandon them in cruel hoursNão abandona nas horas cruéis
And gives back double what the wind tookE dá em dobro o que o vento levou
