Speed Of Birds

It’s built in our minds
Agreed with terms
Greater than cosmos
That our structure is time-bound

And the time won’t kill
It sustains torment
Black clouds gather
In immeasurable cluster

But this is eternal
My everlasting hate
And this is a manifest
To all I bear without
Bestowed and earnest will

But it’s the folly of man
And transient
We have burnt our beds
Out of doors

How do you feel
When your heated up core
Can carry no longer
Another touch on the shoulders

They go ahead
The restless ones
At the speed of bird
With a moribund laughter
